You know, in retrospect, a Nazi trying to convince a young, innocent girl to fall in love with him so that she might forgive his terrible ideologies and the fact that he would sell her out to his fellow Nazis for a corn chip while we all watch on screaming NO, pretty much sums up 2017 after all.

Astra too! Hmm. Women with pants = threatening? Less available for the male gaze? (I like Winn, but just thinking of how he made Kara’s outfit, even though she’s the one who said she loved it and kept wearing it). I’m thinking of that post about lesbian fashion “not looking hot for men and men hate it.”
I mean, these are sexy outfits still–they’re catsuits, not baggy pants, but I still wonder if it’s somehow, unconsciously, “women acting like men? Wearing pants? Having agency? Evil, stop it!”
