#‘i can’t carry it for you but i can carry you’#is how both of the danvers sisters feel about each other #and i LIVE for it
Here’s to the Danvers sisters. We should come with a warning.

Outside of the “Midvale” episode, are we going to see a bigger focus on the Danvers sisters this season on Supergirl?
When I pressed EP Andrew Kreisberg on whether more of the Supergirl characters would get to take part in the upcoming four-way crossover event, he dropped quite a tease. “Kara and Alex are at the center of it through all four hours,” Kreisberg says. “One of the things we’ve been doing a lot this season is getting back to season 1 and really making it Danvers sisters-centric, so a lot of what’s going on this season is Kara and Alex doing things in tandem, and the crossover won’t be any different.”

This is actually so true though. Kara might be related to Clark by blood, they might come from the same planet (one Clark has no recollection of whatsoever) but the moment Kara landed on earth he quite literally abandoned her by taking her to the Danvers. Kara was originally sent to earth to protect her cousin, but when she came to earth and needed guidance and protection he sent her away and went about his life instead. So yes, they might share the same heritage, but for Kara, Alex is always going to be more of a family than Clark ever was

nods. Alex has no way of knowing if Kara really understands, though.
