That line in the Supergirl Midvale Promo with Kara saying: “I remember thinking that I would never feel at home on Earth but I feel at home with you.”
It’s one of the most beautiful and powerful lines in the show. This, exactly this, is what the show was missing last season. No matter what happens, the Danvers Sisters are the heart of the show.
Kara can lose Mon-El and James and even Cat. Alex can lose Maggie. But they’re not losing each other. And like Alex said, they can do anything as long as they’re together.

The fact that Kara stopped using her powers to protect Alex and then started using them again to save Alex many years later is just beautiful and fitting.
