This is actually so true though. Kara might be related to Clark by blood, they might come from the same planet (one Clark has no recollection of whatsoever) but the moment Kara landed on earth he quite literally abandoned her by taking her to the Danvers. Kara was originally sent to earth to protect her cousin, but when she came to earth and needed guidance and protection he sent her away and went about his life instead. So yes, they might share the same heritage, but for Kara, Alex is always going to be more of a family than Clark ever was
I had like the worst art block ever this month but i think it’s finally over ‘cause i manged to get through coloring these c:
I wanted to try and make Alex’s kryptonite armor a little more sleek and movable looking. The second one is just a possible outfit she could wear if she ever gets to participate in the crossovers and gets to jump to different earths with Kara. The last two are for a possible future comic I’ve been working on. these were fun to do, i hope you guys like them c:

Alex
writes the letters out slowly, in clear, bold capitals.
Kara
watches with rapt attention, eyes following the movement of the pen,
the flow of the ink over the ballpoint.
“Danvers,”
Alex tells her, pointing at the word, and spells it out loud.
Kara
nods. Alex has no way of knowing if Kara really understands, though.
She tries something else.
Some #alexdanvers love
I’ve been wanting to play around with her kryptonite suit for a bit, still gotta clean this up and add some other ideas I have c:
