Hi friends! If anyone, like me, has been having trouble actually getting the back-up you can get through tumblr to download because your computer keeps timing out, Free Download Manager worked for me.
As far as I can tell it’s a third party software you can set to handle downloads for whatever browser you’re doing the download through, and it handles larger files much better.
It took about 5 hours for my 6,000-some posts, and I had to do the download all at once (pausing and restarting didn’t work), but now I have all of my stuff!
