#I LOVE Cat’s face here#because here Kara is finally standing up to her#and cat is so confused because who taught you to be this aggressive and take no crap#and not to back down and not to be afraid of the world#WHO SAID YOU WERE ALLOWED TO TALK TO ME THAT WAY#and then she’s like oh right#that was me#i taught her that#i am the one who basically said let’s be…more than just assistant and boss and get to know each other#….shit#it’s like cat didn’t realize that by inviting Kara to have a closer relationship to her that would mean house training a puppy#because when Kara Danvers decides to be your friend#she is YOUR FRIEND RIDE OR DIE AND NO BOUNDARIES WHATSOEVER#PLEASE MS GRANT LET ME HELP YOU I JUST WANT YOU TO BE HAPPY I CAN FIX THIS LET ME FIX THIS#and Cat’s face here is basically her realizing that she should have known something like this would happen#and that Kara has zero chill and goes from 0 to 60 in .5 when it comes to friendship#and like don’t get Cat wrong#on a professional level this is totally inappropriate and in her head she is already listing all the ways she is going to train Kara#about how this was not a GOOD THING professionally because who does that#who meddles in the personal life of your boss especially if your boss is Cat Grant#but on a personal level she kinda loves it because having someone like Kara Danvers in your corner#earnestly fighting for your happiness and trying to help you be the best version of yourself that you can be#it lifts you up and gives you strength and Cat needs that#i just really loved this development of their relationship in this episode#because Kara wasn’t an assistant to Cat at all – she was a friend#and Cat playing wingman and giving her okay to date her son at the end of the episode is the clearest sign that Cat is okay with that#Cat Grant is okay with being Kara Danvers’ friend#and is willing to accept all the sunshine and puppies that comes with that#(even though Alex is right –  they totally need more boundaries defined about what is okay in the workplace#because you can be friends with your boss but sometimes she is gonna play the boss card and you’re gonna have to deal with it) (via @dealanexmachina)
