one of my favorite dinosaurs is the carnotaurus [u probably remember them from the disney movie dinosaur] and its mostly bc of the fact that everything we know about the entire species comes from one, extremely well preserved fossil of it [like, skin impressions and everything]
and because we have such a preserved skeleton of them, it’s just a fact that they really were just that fuckin weird looking and bizarre
their hands are actually smaller in proportion to their body than t-rex’s was and they might not have even had claws on their tiny hands bc the fingers were fused together, their heads are shorter than most predators and their legs are actually pretty thin and delicate looking
like it’s a great dinosaur!!!!! its name literally means meat-eating bull!!! but its so fuckin weird!!!!!
another one of my fave dinos that not a lot of ppl know about has to be the yutyrannus!!!!
its a type of tyrannosaurid + currently the largest dinosaur that we know had feathers, like this is probably closer to what this feathery giant looked like but i REALLY cannot rule out the idea of them looking like
this either. in fact i would go as far as to say that this is EXACTLY how they looked imo.
