What r your nb Kara ideas?

Hello anon!
I don’t want to go too far into this (even though I actually did, whoops) because it’s such a limitless universe of possibility and I probably could go on for hours. However, it is an idea I really really love. Obviously.
Kara would have ‘come out’ really quickly after they came to Earth. On Krypton, there wasn’t really a word for where they fell in terms of gender identity, because there didn’t need to be, but it becomes evident that on Earth, there is a very limited gender binary.
They were accepted as they were by Eliza and Jeremiah with no questions asked, but Alex was curious and the kids at school seemed to care too much about what was in their pants, so they found that label and used it.
Many years later, on that fateful day, when Alex’s plane almost crashes, they’re wearing a very thin shirt that sticks tightly to their chest, and so are branded as a woman. Kara very carefully and quietly takes Cat aside, and tells her (CatCo is an inclusive place, and Cat will not hesitate to fire anyone that will not correctly refer to a person with their preferred name, gender identity, and pronouns) that the girl on the wing of the plane is not a girl at all. Cat is understanding, and scraps the female branding, focusing instead on gender-neutral names, and does not complain once about the difficulty of finding a new term.
Instead of a skirt, the suit had some kickass pants, and their job and the equipment at the DEO makes the top surgery that they’ve wanted a distinct possibility. That, paired with the fact they can serve the people of National City, finally makes them feel like they have a life on this planet, that they can make up for not being there for Kal by saving those around them, and themselves.
