Me: writing a Supergirl s2 rewrite
Also me: has no real inspiration to write scenes involving Kara, the main character of the show Supergirl
It’s not that I don’t want to write Kara’s scenes. I’m just not entierly sure how
Watch season one. Imagine that character in the story of season two.
That’s my general go to with how to write Kara, tbh, she’s just hard for me.
Well, to put in in easier to capture terms, think of the worst pain you’ve ever been in. Suicidal depression is a good start if you know what that feels like. Then imagine forcing yourself to be happy and chipper all the time while bottling that shit up so deep you need fucking James Cameron, an imax film crew, and a deep submergence vehicle to find it.
In other words, imagine Kara as someone with clinical depression working in retail.
