I dabbled in prop making a few years ago, then fell out of habit. Thought I’d take it up again, and when I was brainstorming possible projects, I thought ooh it would be fun to make Alex’s favorite alien gun.

The body is cardboard and mat board. I shaped it with a homemade paste of white glue, acrylic paint, and baking soda. The light is a blue LED attached to the body of a marker I tore apart. This was super fun to make!
